SAN FRANCISCO, CA – May 30, 2005 - El Camino Charter Lines, DBA El Camino Trailways, San Francisco-based Charter Bus company providing charter bus services to the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 40 years, today announced it has been selected by Amtrak to provide daily bus service from San Francisco to Stockton, California.
The Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach Services contract is awarded for an initial period of three years to serve Amtrak’s Capital Corridor and San Joaquin Routes and is a key feeder service serving San Francisco, Oakland, Emeryville, Richmond, Antioch, Stockton, Lodi, Modesto, Merced, Martinez and Fresno in California’s Central Valley.
