27 members of TANG started 2007 right, by spending the first week of January in the Bay Area, visiting seven of the West Coast's finest companies to network, learn about internship opportunities, and explore the city. We had a really great turnout and appreciate everybody that came on the trip who made it such a success. These companies are doing wonderful things and they were generous enough to take time to present some of their work to us, network with us, and answer our questions. We were welcomed with open arms at eBay, Google, Intel, Visa, Wells Fargo, BEA, and Genentech, from whom we learned about a range of topics- everything from click fraud and cancer medications, to the history of the microprocessor and the gold discovery in 1848 was covered (including the etymology of the term "shotgun," being derived from the person sitting next to a stage coach driver). Our own stage coach, better known as the El Camino Trailways' bus, chauffeured us in style to our various destinations so that we could relax on the way to visit companies, and drink with the alumni that visited with us on Thursday night. We really appreciated the opportunity to learn from a really distinguished and diverse group of alumni that took time out of their busy schedules to come out for the event in Palo Alto, so we would like to extend a big TANG thank-you to them for helping make it so successful. A few prospective students even showed up to ask questions and learn more about Stern firsthand from students. It was a great way to end a busy day visiting companies to see a different side of the Bay Area. Between all the trekking, learning, and socializing, we still managed to find time to explore the city and its surrounding areas. Some people were treated to their first In-N-Out Burger experience, which provided much needed mid-week munching, dined in style in the financial district and nearby Ferry Building Marketplace. We capped the trip off with sake, sushi and such at Umami on Friday in San Francisco. To the companies, alumni, and students, thanks so much for making this a great event. TANG will look forward to another successful outing to the West Coast next year!

I'd like to thank you & El Camino for providing a top-notch service. My client was delighted with your brand new coaches and your professional, well prepared drivers. El Camino was able to accommodate our last-minute changes flawlessly. This exemplifies your versatility, efficiency, and flexibility. As Director of a nationwide DMC, I am delighted to find a transportation company that is so dedicated to customer satisfaction. El Camino will be my motorcoach provider for all future programs in Northern California. I look forward to a profitable, successful business partnership.

I would like to thank you for coordinating a luxury bus for our Napa trip last Friday. Our group had a great time. Even though the ride each way was more than an hour long, we enjoyed every minute of it, and it was absolutely fun-filled. On the bus, we conducted some team-building activities and laughed so much. More importantly, we arrived at Domaine Carneros and back to office on time --- kudos to Jeff, the driver. Our group, all of who are Information System professionals and consultants, clapped hands at the end of trip. It was awesome. Ira, we would love to do it again and will contact you in the near future. Thank you!

We, the Bank of America Retirees, recently did a trip to Reno, of which I was the group leader. I wish to commend our driver Cecil Ross, for his excellent driving and for his most courteous and friendly manner. As I am sure you are aware, our bus did have some serious mechanical problems causing us to stop. Cecil handled the situation in a most professional manner, putting the safety of his passengers first and returning us back safely. He is an outstanding driver and gentleman that we look forward to requesting him again.

My group, St. Elizabeth’s Travel Club, has been doing business with El Camino Charter Lines for several years. El Camino Lines has handled day trips – San Juan Bautista, Santa Cruz, Sonoma County Fair, Felton train ride; trips to casinos – Thunder Valley, Jackson Rancheria, Cache Creek and overnight trips to Reno; as well as multi-day trips to Yosemite and Santa Barbara, which my group is still raving about. My relationship with El Camino Charter Lines has been a very happy and enlightening one.

In my 20 years here at Lick-Wilmerding High School, the best thing that ever happened to our athletic department was hiring El Camino Lines to take our student-athletes to our games and practices. As the Athletic Director at our High School I can't think of a better company to work with than you guys. The 3 things that stick out in my mind about your company is #1 You're always on time, #2 Everyone involved in your company is 1st class all the way, and #3 Every day that we get on your bus, I know that we are in good hands, because you always make us feel special as if we are part of your family. You are The Best.

Anytime I have a transportation need for our athletic department, I never hesitate to call El Camino. Their track record of providing safe and reliable transportation to our teams is second to none. I feel at ease knowing that our coaches and athletes will not have to worry about getting to their event on time.

I want to take this opportunity to thank El Camino Lines for your assistance in making our summer a sucess. Our summer was very active: through you, we booked trips to such venues as theme parks, beaches and regional parks, both for our department and for various outside non-profit agencies through a city administered bus transportation program. I look forward to our contnued good working relationship and on behalf of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and the various outside non-profit agencies, a well deserved "thank you" to the wonderful staff and bus drivers at El Camino Charter Bus Lines.
